After I posted my BIOTA story, [livejournal.com profile] likeasouffle mused about who Kurt kissed during the spin-the-bottle game at Rachel's party.

Which I hadn't even thought about. Ugh.

Well. Zie wrote this delightful piece and it's my new headcanon.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] whiterose0328 married my BIOTA story, which makes me so so happy because my stories love to get married early and often, and can be loyal and loving companions to one or to many simultaneously, and love the comfort and domestic tranquility of marriage to awesome Klainers. And zie wrote this lovely fic as a wedding present. It's got an awesome Burt and the happy Hudmels, but mostly it's just Kurt and Blaine being adorably (and maybe a little adorkably) in love.
I haven't been writing enough fluff lately - pretty much everything I have on my plate right now is angsty, or at an angsty stage in its progress - and then [livejournal.com profile] mulder1921 wrote a comment at the end of Falling Is Like This, which included this:

Vague spoilers for Falling Is Like This and BIOTA 2.14 behind the cut )

... the unoffcial alternative ending that begins in Chapter 5 is here and the unofficial alternative ending that begins in Chapter 4 starts here (it was long so I split it up over two comments). If they had ratings, I'd say PG-13 for language. And they're unofficial because I didn't read over them before I posted them.

Chapter title: Friday, and the World Is Clear
Characters: Kurt/Blaine pre-dating, Rachel
Rating: PG-13 (entire story)
Spoilers: 2.14 (Blame It On the Alcohol).
Warnings: language
Word count: About 18,000 overall, 1,772 this part
Summary: The fact the he enjoyed kissing Rachel at the party is confusing for Blaine. But what's more confusing is Kurt.
Chapter Summary: Blaine makes a discovery: lips that taste like Cherry chapstick are not all they're cracked up to be. Kurt's glad of that.
Author’s Note: Thank you, verdandil, for your beta-ing and pretty-sobbing.

Omigawd, guyz, I can't believe it's over. This chapter is short, and now I want to add like 3,000 words to drag it out, but I won't, because that's not what the story wants. Mean, mean story. Thanks for all of your love and I promise, I will just keep playing with these boys until they make me stop. Which is not gonna happen anytime soon. They told me.

Oh, yeah. The complete author's notes, which include song links and lots of meta, are here.

Chapter 5: Friday, and the World Is Clear )

Chapter title: Thursday's Child Has Far to Go
Characters: Kurt/Blaine pre-dating, Blaine's roommate (OC)
Rating: PG-13 (entire story)
Spoilers: 2.14 (Blame It On the Alcohol). This chapter has references to scenes and characters in the movie Brokeback Mountain.
Warnings: In this chapter, language and brief references to sex acts in a movie the characters have seen.
Word count: About 18,000 overall, 3,229 this part
Summary: The fact the he enjoyed kissing Rachel at the party is confusing for Blaine. But what's more confusing is Kurt.
Chapter Summary: Talking to Rachel and letting her try to dash his hopes last night only made Kurt more sure of Blaine's feelings for him. Now, well …

[Oh, and another thing - I marked this as "genre:romance" in [livejournal.com profile] kurt_blaine because it seemed the least poor fit of all the genres, but I have been informed that "genre:angst" could also work. I though angst was for hard stuff like suicide, murder, zombie attacks, brain damage and hate crimes, which is why I didn't use it, but, yeah, there's quite a bit of emotional confusion - er, emotional angst - in here. Personally, I prefer the genre:hurt/comfort tag that [livejournal.com profile] beyond_dapper offers, but beggars can't be choosers.]

Chapter 4: Thursday's Child Has Far to Go )
Fic: Falling is Like This [2/5]
Chapter title: On Tuesday, You Made Me Warm
Characters: Kurt/Blaine pre-dating, Rachel, Blaine's roommate (OC)
Rating: PG-13 (entire story)

Summary: The fact the he enjoyed kissing Rachel at the party is confusing for Blaine. But what's more confusing is Kurt.
Chapter Summary: Blaine is tired of being perfect.
Author’s Note: My attempt at figuring out what was going on in the boys' heads during 'Blame It on the Alcohol' and why that fight in the Lima Bean didn't end their friendship. This story is finished. I'll be posting one chapter a day until all chapters are up (finishes on Friday in U.S.).  More complete author's notes will be posted as a separate entry at the end of the week.

Chapter Summary: Kurt wishes he could learn a new way to be angry, at least around Blaine.
Disclaimer: Characters not mine, except for the one I made up.
Author’s Note: My attempt at figuring out what was going on in the boys' heads during 'Blame It on the Alcohol' and why that argument in the Lima Bean didn't kill their friendship. Canon-compatible, even when I really didn't want it to be. This story is finished. Chapter 1: Monday, You Can Fall Apart )
[livejournal.com profile] likeasouffle has a thought-provoking post today called On sex and "virginity" - spoilers, TMI. If you've seen episode 3.05 "The First Time," I highly recommend you go over and read it. In the comments, you will get lots of people's thoughts on what sex is and whether or not Glee presents it right. You will also see me make a complete ass of myself, which is kind of funny.* Please join the conversation. (Be warned – as the title of the post implies, you will get seriously Too Much Information about me and just about everyone who comments there.)

*What's it called when you get schadenfreude about yourself? Selbstschadenfreude?

How can I be the only person who has yet commented on [livejournal.com profile] nielrian's awesome audio blog response to 3.05? It's not even 20 minutes long. Go listen to it now and comment! And then download all her podfic because she is the best and she *always* makes me cry at the fluffy parts.

Title: When I Think About You
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: urt/Blaine
Spoilers: 3.05 (The First Time)
Word Count: 1,923
Warnings: Sexual desire, references to masturbation, language, two hot boys making out (actually, the last one is a promise, not a warning)
Disclaimer: own nothing. Title from that dirty, dirty song by the Divinyls, "I Touch Myself".
Summary: Thinking about your boyfriend while masturbating is sexy, but telling him about it is sexier. Pure, unadulterated fluff. Canon compliant. [Note adde - This was written as a one-shot, but then it kind of grew in my head and I wrote a follow-up that happens later the same evening, How Strange the Change. This works as a standalone, but if you read and comment on both, I will bake you a plate of delicious, satisfying, calorie-free virtual chocolate-chip cookies.]
