At the encouragement of [livejournal.com profile] glitterwocky, I put back the 37 words of throwaway reference to one of Blaine's sports in "Thursday's Child Has Far to Go." It's only 37 words, and it's really not worth going back and reading the whole chapter just to see it, and it's really not worth going back to search for (it's about halfway through Blaine and Kurt's phone conversation in the last scene but, really, don't go searching for it, because you'll be disappointed). Still, I thought I'd point it out for anyone who might be rereading the story and thinks, "I don't remember seeing that there before."

Background: For a while now, I've had headcanon about Blaine having taken boxing lessons. I've been working on a story about it, which is slow-going because I don't have any personal experience with boxing and therefore I feel compelled to do my usual obsessive research to make things realistic. Although I haven't finished that story, it's my headcanon and I ended up making a throwaway reference to it in Falling. I was shocked - shocked, I tell you! - and delighted to discover this week that Blaine boxing is CANON. Am I psychic? Am I just that in touch with the inner workings of the characters? Who knows. I'm a little dizzy thinking about it.

Clearly you're a genius and should be writing for the show!

(Also I TOTALLY went back that chapter and went edit > find "box" just to see what you said. Awesome.)

I don't know about that - I've never written this script. Although there is this Kurt/Blaine musical I'd like to write based on the Pet Shop Boys catalog.

I'm not sure what you would do with West End Girls or Go West, but I can see uses for Always On My Mind, Heart, and It's a Sin, so I have decided this may not be an entirely silly idea. And that is all I know about the Pet Shop Boys.

"Nervously" would have to be included, and perhaps "Suburbia." "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" if we want to get a little angsty, and "I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing" for when they fall in love.

"Let's Make Lots of Money" would not be part of the musical.

Of course, none of those titles may mean anything to you, but hey ...
