Glee is forgiven for every stupid thing it has done this season.

And now, my thoughts in completely random order:

OMG, Blaine boxes!!!!!! Holy fuck! This has been my headcanon for a while; in fact, I've been working on a story about it, and holy fuck, IT'S CANON!!!!!!! And shit, I had a throwaway reference to Blaine's boxing hobby in Falling Is Like This, but I threw it away because I was like, "Wait, that might just confuse people, since I just mention it like it's a fact but it's not on the show and I haven't finished and posted my big-ass story about Blaine and boxing yet." Fuck, maybe I should go back and put that throwaway reference back in. Fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!!! (Yeah, when I'm beside myself, I kind of swear a lot. The swearing started as rebellion against my WASPy upbringing, and then I learned that it felt good in and of itself, and now when anything good happens, I just launch into cursing like a fucking bastard whore of a pirate.)

Blaine angry!!!!! It's about fucking time!!!!!!!!!! And pretending he's punching Finn's face!

Kurt's disappointed face when he realizes that Blaine is totally against the stripper-dancing that Sam wants to teach everyone. Priceless!

Kurt telling off Sebastian! I fucking love you Kurt!!!!!!

Camera focusing on Sebastian smiling in the audience? Eh, you better not be trying to convince me that he's got a real genuine crush on Blainers. Maybe he was smiling because ...

OH MY GOD! KURT'S VOICE!!!!!! FUCKING I LOVE IT WHEN THEY LET HIM SING IN A LOWER REGISTER!!!!!!! They needed to give him more lines in ABC, that's my only complaint. On the other hand, maybe that's a good thing. Because if he had sung the whole song or even half the song, well, my head might have exploded. I swear, that man could remove my clothes with the power of his voice alone. (And if anyone wants to write a sexy, slightly supernatural fic about Kurt removing Blaine's clothing with the power of his growly tenor notes alone, by all means, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEZ DO! And let me know so I can roll around in it for, like, EVER.)

Samcedes! Apparently some people don't like that combo - I have no idea why. Hopefully they will prefer Samcedes to Mercedes and that footballer player dude who really isn't good for her, as witnessed by his encouraging of bad-attitude-Mercedes earlier this season. (I am all for people having bad attitudes, but not if they start to ruin their own lives with said bad attitudes, which is what Mercedes has been doing. IMHO. She could have been Maria, for fuck's sake! With fucking awesome Blaine Anderson!)

"Hold on to Sixteen?" I'd rather not. But it's an awesome song (and, um I always kind of got the sense that it was about people being wistful about their youth, when maybe they should grow up and learn to love adulthood); too bad they didn't sing it

Scene with Sam's parents: A little out of context and where did that come from, and oh my gosh right before that, they showed Rachel and Finn and Sam all outdoors in the daytime when it was SUNNY, and how often does that happen unless its in the McKinley parking lot? But even though it was all so weird for Glee and I kept waiting for it to bother me, it didn't.

ALL THE SONGS!!!! I am so glad I was unspoiled for the songs of this episode. I freaking almost had a meltdown (the good kind) during the Jackson medley. "ABC"? See above comments about Kurt removing my clothes. "Control"? I don't remember Janet singing it so well. "Man in the Mirror"? THEY MADE ME CRY. I already love that song, but shit, not usually to the point of CREYZ CREYZ CREYZ. Seriously, I think they might have been better than Michael Jackson. The only thing missing was a Kurt solo moment.

First song and last song of the episode - never heard them before, now want to hear them over and over and over.

Troubletones "Survive" mash-up - awesome! I only know the Gloria Gaynor one - I think I might actually like the one I was unfamiliar with better. But their choreography? Distracting. The only time where it really felt like they had it together was when they danced in pairs - they should have done more of that. Girls doing ballroom dancing together isn't that risque, is it?

Just about died when the Unitards launched into Evita. Wanted to be sitting with Kurt and Rachel right then.

Finn fucking grows up!!! Yeah, next episode he'll be back to being a big doofus, but hey!

Never thought I'd be so excited for Sugar Motta to be in the New Directions. But after all her awesomeness in last week's episode, I am so so so looking forward to more of her this season.

Oh, and I almost forgot - Kurt's back to dressing hot. Yay! All his outfits were awesome, especially those knee britches with the newsboy hat! OK, and the black ensemble with white scarf during red cup. And everything. Sebastian just needs to open his eyes and realize he will. never. be. as. sexy. as. Kurt.

Okay. There's my thoughts. What are yours?

(Caveat: I am TOTALLY UNSPOILED for anything happening next week or, really, at any future point in Glee. So please, NO SPOILERS, not even mentioning an actor who might pop up or a song they might sing or an outfit Kurt's going to wear. Thanks!)

I ship Samcedes too, I cannot wait to see how Glee goes about this since Sam did say he didn't care about her boyfriend and wants her back.

Red Solo cup - only Kurt's faces made it better.

Survivor mash-up. Dancing was distracting. It was Survivor - Destiny's Child and I will Survive by Gloria.

I swear to god Finn is like bi-polar or something. I don't know what to do with him.

Sugar is the best new character this season. I love her background moments. I'm so glad she's in ND now.

Kurt and Blaine are dressing better now! They looked good. Also, omg did you notice the kilt Kurt was wearing last episode when Puck was singing his song? He wore a kilt with no leggings! We saw bare legs!

Blaine - Fight club! Boy was sweating...it was hot....yum.

Kurt is all about showing the knees now. But it's getting cold in Ohio, so maybe we will miss them for a few episodes now. Or maybe he wears a very long trench coat to cover them up when he's outside?

So if Kurt was wearing a kilt with no leggings last week, does that mean that he was wearing the kilt in the, ahem, traditional fashion?

Holy crap! He's got some muscular calves. But the picture's weird. He'd be totally kicked out of the Boy Scouts.

Maybe they cover his legs because they don't want to cause a flaming war between the pro-hairy-legs camp and the pro-Kurt-shaving camp. They figure it's best to leave it up to our imaginations.

I like to imagine that all the clothes in 3.05 were before they had sex, but YMMV!

Hahaha. I think that is a very important and valid debate. You're probably right.

While I was mostly joking, I think it's entirely possible that they both came in their pants and not even got as far as taking their clothes off that night. Or maybe they did for round two. But you know, eight months of dating without touching below the waist? That night was intense.

Boy Scouts USA kicks you out if you're openly gay and/or atheist. I don't know about in other countries. For this reason (particularly the gay one - discrimination against atheists is more acceptable in the U.S.), a lot of local chapters of the United Way and other umbrella fund-raising agencies no longer raise funds for the Boy Scouts. But it probably won't change any time soon. Religious organizations (mostly Catholic, Protestant and Mormon) sponsor more than half the troops - it is a huge part of Mormon culture and the Mormon church (and Catholic church, and many of the Protestant churches, too) obviously have a stake in things not changing.

My headcanon is that they came in their pants before even leaving McKinley, went to Blaine's, had more sex. Actually, my headcanon is about 20 different scenarios, because they're all equally delicious.

first, I too am so glad I was unspoiled on the songs, because that was incredible to see and hear for the first time. Best Sectionals EVER.

This episode made me so irrationally happy and just....some good ass Glee. Good. Ass. Glee.

My only complaint is the fight club thing because I took it to be a joke, but people everywhere seem to be taking it at face value...I dig the boxing. But I just don't see it as truth. It might just be me though.

Fight Club definitely a joke. If it had been real, Kurt would have found out and had an absolute cow. *The administration* would have had an absolute cow.

The boxing, not a joke. I'm a little disappointed that the boxing is already canon, because now there are going to be 800 Blaine boxes fics and they're all going to be better than mine but, oh well :)

I am not so comfortable with the supernatural, so I think I will be prompting the clothes-removal on on the glee kink meme. Because I need that fic, too.

Ok I'll start with the bad: My biggest disappointment of the entire episode was the lack of amazing Mike dancing. During a Jackson medley. With his dad in the audience. When it was a plot point to prove to his dad how important dancing is to him. WTH? That combined with the awkwardness of the Troubletones' dancing makes me think their choreographer caught a sudden case of flu and someone random and terrible had to fill in for an episode.

OMG Blaine was super crazy hot in the boxing scene. I am all over that action. Wow he's easy to appease and that whole blow-up kinda went nowhere, but damn, he can get sweaty and hit things any time he wants. Also loved him pretending to hit Finn's face! LOL! And I'm so happy for you that you invented something that became canon! (What's the opposite of getting Jossed? Should we call it getting Wowbrighted?)

Sebastian was smiling because he could see that the New Directions are so good they have to win, and he's sooooo looking forward to competing against them. Unf Sebastian vs Kurt sing-off to win Blaine's affections. (That's not a spoiler. That's head-canon. So you know.)

And then Kurt and Sebastian have angry competitive hate-sex full of insults and Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better-style sex act demonstrations. And then Blaine says "Stop fighting! We can settle this by seeing who gives the best blowjobs. With me as the judge. Simple."

Oh, yes, I thought the same thing about Mike not dancing and his dad being there and NOT SEEING HIM DANCE, and then I got overwhelmed with the other emotions and forgot to say anything in my journal. It was a weird, underwhelming resolution - definitely more underwhelming than the Finn-Blaine resolution, because these parent-child conflicts take on a permanent kind of force of their own and are so hard to overcome. The Finn-Blaine resolution was too quick, but not completely unbelievable. Because it was clear in the weight room scene that it wasn't completely resolved for Blaine, but it was moving in the right direction for him ("teamwork!"). He finally had hope for it resolving, and that was enough for him.

Hitting Finn's face. Yay!

Kurt would totally win the sing-off. Sebastian's voice was super disappointing the one time we heard it. But a sex-off? Well.

I have to admit I really did enjoy Finn admitting that he's just jealous of Blaine, because he's such a talented and well-rounded performer. And getting complemented sure does great things for dissipating anger. So I guess that does make some sense. And it was pretty awesome when they hugged later. So yeah, the Mike and his dad resolution was underwhelming, but all-in-all that was a pretty great episode. And Kurt would totally win the sing-off.

Let's flail together! How does Blaine continue to be me? Who found the speedbag that I punched off the wall, reinstalled, and punched off the wall again? How did they know about the 'no moving your shoulders, no moving your hips' rule? I want to know.

So happy that Sam's back. I love that he's indulging his inner dork (Red Solo Cup) instead of hiding it (Santana told me not to speak Na'avi anymore). He's going to be fascinating, I can feel it.

Kurt was on FIRE this entire episode. Sebastian? Best scene. Performance? Awesome. Reaction shots? Bank. But they always are, aren't they?

I loved all the songs, but I really, really hoped that the Trouble Tones would win. Shelby is a better coach and they were much better prepared. Maybe I'm just a sucker for their songs?

When did I start looking forward to seeing more of Sugar Motta and Sebastian Warbler?

The Trouble Tones were better prepared, but they didn't show off as many vocalists as ND did. Which is ironic, because that's always been a problem with ND (not taking advantage of all their talent) and why Santana and Mercedes left. I know we only saw one TT performance, but I'm pretty sure none of those other girls soloed, because we've never seen them before. But I was very conflicted as we waited for the announcement.

I'm looking forward to more Sugar, but not more Sebastian. Especially because his smile looked so wholesome/genuine/unskanky when he was watching the performances. I was like, "No, they can't be turning him into a complex character that we might develop slight sympathy for!"
