lesley_green posted a new story today. It's a short gen piece called "You're Precious" and it's about Blaine and how he sees his relationship with Kurt, and how he needs to learn his own importance, focused around Kurt's NYADA plans. Like all of her stuff, it's full of verisimilitude, and that makes me happy, even when it also makes me a little verklempt. And also, she gave me the honor of letting me beta it, so yay, that was happy for me because I got to read it first and spew more thinky thoughts at her than I usually do.

And news from me, (aka, why haven't I posted any fic in ages): So I've been working on this fic – or rather, it's been working on me. Because it was supposed to be maybe 10,000 words, and now I have, like 43,000 words. I'm thinking now it may end up at 50-60,000, but the last time I guessed, I thought it was going to be 17,000, so I just shouldn't.
I keep thinking I should take a break to finish up one of my shorts, but I get going on this big story every day, and so that's what I work on. So, there will be lots to read when it comes around.
